 Choices

Every choice you are faced with in life;

Is a tipping point,

Is the edge of a cliff.

You can either learn to jump off, soar and fly sky high,

Or you can jump, crash and burn.

Although we know this, we also know that;

There is never a ‘right’ choice.

Every choice and path you take could end up;

Hurting somebody,

Or healing somebody.

Every choice is a chance to learn;

from your mistakes,

Or in pursuit of knowledge.

Is entirely up to you.

Life tips you a hand of cards, 

And with those cards you play;

Or you choose to leave the game, 

And start a new one with new cards. 

Every move you make is a choice,

Whether you played with a 6 of diamonds

Or a 2 of hearts. 

In the end, you always have a choice. Make it.
